Kelle Duane Fakes, 66, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his home on July 18, 2025. Born on July 20, 1958 in Port Washington, Wisconsin, Kelle was the son of the late Gretchen Lucille Hoover and Bobbie Gene Fakes.
Kelle was a fun-loving father to his son Logan and beloved dog dad to Chili and Millie. He was also a dear brother to Cheryle, Rueben, Paris, Val, Todd, Jill, Del, Rochelle, and Heidi.
Kelle knew how to have fun and always enjoyed a good laugh. He had a passion for the outdoors, fishing, all things guns and shooting, and photography. He was a true patriot, loved his country, and took great pride in his heritage. He had a big heart and spent much of his time, energy, and effort helping others who were in need.
Kelle will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Lebanon Christian Church, 610 W 250 N, Lebanon, IN 46052. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
