Kirklin Christian Church Location Removed From Clinton County Summer Food Program; Other Locations Continue Through Aug. 2

The United Way for Clinton County announced that the Summer Food Program will no longer be available at Kirklin Christian Church for the remainder of the summer following its iteration from 12:15 p.m. to 12:35 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10 due to a low turnout rate at the location.

The Kirklin Christian Church location joins the Jefferson United Methodist Church in being cancelled during the 2024 Summer Food Program, and the Learning Network of Clinton County location has been discontinued as the Summer Kids’ Workshops closed at the end of June.

The United Way for Clinton County Summer Food Program continues this week at various locations and extends to Aug. 2.

The United Way for Clinton County Summer Food Program led to its receipt of the Bronze Award from the United States Department of Agriculture.
