The Town of Kirklin has announced its 2024 Townwide Clean Up Day for Saturday, June 8 with opportunities for residents of Kirklin to help keep the community
clean and dispose of their summer cleaning trash.
The town stated that the trash truck will visit every residence once and will not return, so residents are encouraged to ensure that the items are placed outside on time. The trucks are not allowed to travel through alleys, which requires those with typical alleyway pickups to place the items at the street curb for pick-up.
Excluded items for the pick-up include tires, concrete, paint, batteries, brush and heavy metal objects, such as steel posts.
