The Learning Network of Clinton County were invited to participate in the Adult Education Day at the Indiana Statehouse to learn more about the interworking of the state government, meet with officials, celebrate an adult learner and more.
Executive Director Melinda Grismer, HSE Site Coordinator Abbie Martin, ELL Coordinator and Career Navigator George Jurado and Student Success Coordinator and ELL Instructor were able to attend the Statehouse festivities and meet and connect with Representative Mark Genda and Director Marilyn Pitzulo to share ideas, discuss various topics and learn even more about adult education.
During the event, Learning Network Adult Learner Edison Anasi, originally from Ecuador, received honorable mention in the student essay contest as well.
