The Lebanon Parks Department announced that registration has been spectacular this year for the 2024 Christmas Parade for those interested in entering a float or vehicle into the parade set to begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The department stated that those interested in entering a float or vehicle can register online at lebanonparks.org or by calling the Parks Department at 765-482-8860. The cost is $5 per entry.
The parade this year will begin in Memorial Park, making a lap around the park, before heading downtown on Meridian Street. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be dropped off at the courthouse for the community to meet before the parade travels on East Street to conclude at the park.
During the morning of the parade, community members may also participate in the Christmas in the Cabin event at Herr Cabin Memorial Park at 130 E. Ulen Dr. in Lebanon from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to visit with Santa and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate for $5 per child.
