The Lebanon Police Department announced that a Lebanon detective was recognized as a 2024 Traffic Safety All-Pro by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.
Detective Austin McCloskey was recognized as a 2024 Traffic Safety All-Pro alongside officers from various Indiana Law Enforcement Agencies at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Sept. 19. The award highlights the recipients’ dedication to law enforcement, which recognized McCloskey’s approximate 3,000 driving arrests statewide in 2023.
McCloskey was nominated for the award by Lebanon Police Department Traffic Safety Coordinator Aaron Carlson.
“His outstanding efforts in OWI enforcement have earned him this recognition for three consecutive years,” the department released. “Please join us in congratulating Detective McCloskey for his commitment to ensuring the safety of our community.”
