The Lebanon Tigers girls’ basketball team began their season by going on the road to take on Sheridan on Tuesday.
The Blackhawks came out on top 53-30
Sheridan’s Kenzie Garner poured in 24 points, shooting at an 82 percent clip. Garner also collected 13 rebounds and finished three assists shy of posting a triple-double.
Ali Bir led the Tigers in scoring with eight, while Averee Maciel knocked down two threes.
Lebanon first-year coach Aaron Vaughn will look to pick up his first career win in the Tigers’ home opener on Saturday against McCutcheon.
Sheridan moves to 2-0 on the year and will stay at home to play Brebeuf Jesuit on Monday, Nov. 19 at 7:30.
