Lebanon Public Library Seeks Community Feedback For Language-Learning Database

The Lebanon Public Library is seeking community feedback regarding its consideration of adding a database to aid community members with learning a new language.

The library released a survey to gauge community feedback regarding the possible implementation of the new database, gathering the community’s interest in learning a new language, why the language may be learned, which features may be useful, how the material may be accessed and what language is of interest.

According to the library, the possibilities for the database include exploring the 70 or more languages on the database, watching child-friendly videos geared for ages 1 through 5 and utilizing American Sign Language tutorials.

“We would love to gauge our community’s interest in this type of database,” the library released. “Please share your thoughts in the survey.”

The survey for community feedback may be found here.
