Lebanon Unveils Proposed Plan For New Westside Park

Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry released information regarding the proposed Westside Park, which will take the place of the old Street Department Garage, in Lebanon following the aid of community members who helped to develop the plans for the park through their input.

Gentry stated that the City took the results from the community survey that received nearly 500 responses to create an initial concept map for the park, which includes plans for seating, play mounds and tunnels, splashpad, shelters, restrooms, parking, skatepark and more at the park.

Gentry stated that based on the feedback received, the City is designing the park to focus on the 13-years-old to 18-years-old age group, but the City will ensure that there are areas that appeal to all age groups in the community.

The City is still accepting feedback on the initial plans for the park.
