Lebanon Vs. Western Boone Game Recognizes Seniors, First Responders, Veterans, Current Armed Forces Members This Friday

The senior night for Lebanon and recognition night for Boone County first responders, veterans and current armed forces members will take off this Friday night, Oct. 18 at the Lebanon High School Stadium as the Lebanon Tigers face off against the Western Boone Stars.

At 6:40 p.m., the teams will recognize the Lebanon senior football players and cheerleaders before the Lebanon marching band takes the field at 6:52 p.m., which will be immediately followed by the teams returning to the field. Around 6:55 p.m., first responders, veterans and current armed forces members will take the field with the cheerleaders to be honored, which will be immediately followed by the National Anthem and kick off at 7 p.m.

All veterans, current armed forces members and first responders have been invited to attend the game at no cost, and those in attendance should report to the field gate entrance at 6:45 p.m. to begin lining up for the recognition ceremony.

The game will also feature a Battle of the Kettle competition to kick off the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign where both schools will battle to raise the most money with donations of coins and dollars from attendees.
