LeRoy David “Roy” Galvin, 83, of Frankfort, passed away June 25, 2025 at Signature Healthcare, Lebanon, IN.  He was born June 30, 1941 in Frankfort to John Edward “Pete” & Lillian Bell (Irwin) Galvin.

Roy was a 1959 graduate of Chamberlain High School in Tampa, FL.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked as a banker for Continental Illinois National Bank & Trust Company of Chicago and Household Bank.  Roy enjoyed signing, playing piano and accordion.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge where he served as bartender, a member of the American Legion and the Jack and Jill Club in Chicago.

Roy is survived by nieces, Robin (Mitch) Seals of Frankfort, Kim (Brian) Baker of Frankfort, nephews, Joe (Carol) Carter of Kirklin, Jeff (Lori) Galvin of Russiaville, Cameron (Marcia) Stratton of Frankfort, as well as several other nieces, nephews and their families.  He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, William Galvin, Richard Galvin, Robert Galvin, Steve Thomas, sisters, Donna Galvin, Mary Carter, Roberta Galvin, nephews, Martin Carter, Sam Galvin and niece Debbie Binkowski.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.  Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.  Please visit goodwinfuneralhome.com, to leave a condolence.
