Linda C. Schooley, 69, of Frankfort, passed away February 19, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind. She was born September 26, 1955 in Russellville, TN to Grover C. & Gracey (Riley) Posey. She married Richard W. Schooley in South Bend and they have been married for 30 years.
Linda attended Rutledge Elementa
ry High School and spend most of her life in Clinton County. She was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, puzzles, singing, collecting dolls and Native American crafts.
Linda is survived by her husband, Richard W., siblings, Roscoe (Sue) Posey of Hillsboro, OH, Virginia (Eric) Smith of Frankfort, Billy (Tracy) Posey of Faithville, OH and Grover (Kay) Posey of Hillsboro, OH, step-son, David (Rhoda) Lehan of Nappanee, IN, several nieces, nephews, many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by sons, David Wayne and William Leroy Schooley, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.~12 Noon, Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will begin at 12 Noon on Saturday at the funeral home.
