Linda Deloris Chaille, 84, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at CrownPointe Assisted Living in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born on February 2, 1940, in Epson, Indiana, a daughter of the late Lynn Dillon Rosenberry and Sylvia Grace (Mallett) Rosenberry.
Linda was a 1958 graduate of Washington High School in Washington, Indiana. Following her graduation, she enrolled in Indianapolis Public School’s nursing program and graduated in 1975.
Linda was employed at St. Vincent Hospital for 23 years and received credit for 25 years, retiring in 2005. After her retirement, she continued to work as a caregiver.
Linda was a member of Lebanon Christian Church. She enjoyed visiting the elderly, sewing, attending fitness classes at the YMCA, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Miranda J. (Justin) Giles of Indianapolis; sister, Tonna (Ron) Lee of Clarksville; sister-in-law, Marilyn Rosenberry of Jeffersonville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcella Grace Chaille; brothers, Sam Rosenberry and Jim (Marilyn) Rosenberry; and sisters, Vonda Rosenberry, Alma (Thurman) Pound, and Rena (Bill) Wheeler.
Memorial Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
Her ashes will be entombed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon at a later date.
