The book was inspired by the true story of Ruch’s daughter, Mackenna, and the adoption of her cat, Nori. Adding to the project’s creativity, Ruch collaborated with her artist friend, Brenda BE, who illustrated the story and helped bring its characters and world to life.
To celebrate the release, Ruch will host a book release party at the Frankfort Public Library on February 3. Family, friends, and community members are invited to attend, with additional event details to be announced soon. Those interested in updates about the book and release events are encouraged to follow Susan Ruch on social media.
Ahead of the book’s release, Ruch will also appear on WILO’s Party Line on January 30, where she will join Cindy Loveless and Melissa Miller to talk about the book and her journey as an author. Listeners are encouraged to tune in and call in to be part of the conversation.
