Lonna J. Hollingsworth, 62, of Thorntown, Indiana, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Logansport, Indiana, on November 20, 1961; a daughter of the late Keith Guthrie and Carolyn Sue (Landis) Schaeffer.
Lonna graduated from Western Boone High School in 1980.
On June 19, 1999, she was married to William G. Hollingsworth, in Darlington, Indiana; he survives.
Lonna was a machine operator at Stalcop Metal Forming in Thorntown for many years.
She found joy in fishing and crocheting, hobbies that brought her and those around her much happiness.
Survivors include her husband, William Hollingsworth of Thorntown; children, Aaron (Casey) Johnson of Lebanon, Ed (Katina) Southern of Crawfordsville, and Andy Southern of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren; sister, Patricia Clouse of Lafayette; and brother, Jeff (Georgette) Guthrie of Campbellsburg.
In addition to her parents, Lonna was preceded in death by her stepfather, John “Mike” Schaeffer.
Visitation is planned from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana. Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with her cremation.
