Love Inc. in Boone County has announced a special Valentine’s Day experience for community members who are seeking to better the community while also enjoying sweet treats in the spirit of “Love Your Neighbor Day.”
The organization announced that on Thursday, Feb. 13, community members may bring in a food donation to the Love Inc. food pantry for the homeless and receive a sweet treat for their kindness.
The food pantry is available Monday through Thursday to those that are currently homeless in Boone County. Needed items currently include soup cans with pop-top lids, beef jerky, pretzels, trail mix, crackers, canned chicken, ramen noodles soup cups, single-serve juice boxes, bottled water and items with pop-top lids.
“Help us show love to those struggling in our community with housing and food,” the organization released.
Donations may be dropped off at Love Inc. at 817 W. Pearl St. in Lebanon.
