Many Christmas Events This Weekend

There are several Christmas themed events going on this weekend through Clinton County and surrounding towns.

Christmas Tree Lighting in Frankfort will take place on Saturday, December 3, around 5:30-6. The annual Christmas Parade will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 3. The Clinton County Family YMCA has the angel tree plus you can adopt a YMCA employee.

The 2022 Festival of Lights begins is underway and runs to Monday, January 2. This is the 30th anniversary of the event. This year, the concession stand will be open selling homemade soups, a company selling kettle corn and a few food trucks.

Christmas At The Canal will be held Saturday, December 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1030 Washington St., Delphi. There will be a bazaar, photos with Santa, live music, Pioneer Village Artisans, historical tours, food and children’s story time. This a free admission event.

Delphi invites you to the Vintage Oaks Holiday Market on Saturday, December 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1810 N. 1150 West, Delphi. The S.E.E. Carroll County gift card is a community-wide e-gift card that will have many of your favorite retailers, restaurants, services and entertainment in one place. The card is valid at 17 locations around Carroll County.

The Burlington Christmas Walk will be held Saturday, December 3, from 4-7:30 p.m. at the Burlington Community Park. There will be shopping, Santa, wagon rides, animals and live music. Sponsored by local businesses.

The 2022 Flora Christmas Parade and Depot Tree Lighting will take place Friday, December 2. The Flora Community Club invites you to join them for their lighted Christmas Parade. The parade will feature floats, golf carts, tractors, and walking groups. Parade lineup and registration starts at 5:15 p.m. at the TIG Office, corner of Willow and Clark Street. Parade starts at 6 p.m. followed by the tree lighting at the Depot, which will be open to visitors during the parade and tree lighting.

The Witham Pavilion Boutique will host its annual holiday open house on Friday, December 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Offering a wide assortment of women’s apparel, jewelry, gifts and accessories, lotions and spa items, the Pavilion Boutique is located at the North Pavilion B entrance on the Witham campus in Lebanon.

The Deer Creek Community Breakfast will be held Saturday, December 3, from 7-10 a.m. at the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church, 4450 North State Road 29, Deer Creek. Menu includes biscuits and gravy, waffles, sausage and bacon, eggs, hash brown, coffee cake and rolls, fruit along with coffee, milk and juice.
