Marguerite “Marg” Williamson, 94, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born in Advance, Indiana on September 2, 1927, the second oldest daughter of the late Earl Ralph and Ester Adelthea (Morrison) Reese. She had married Gene Williamson and later divorced.
Marg was a 1945 graduate of Lebanon High School and had attended Indiana Central Business College. From 1962 – 1977 she worked as the switchboard operator for Stewart Warner in Lebanon. She then served as receptionist for Boone County State Bank in Lebanon until her retirement in 1994. During retirement, Marg enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels.
She was a member of Lebanon Christian Church and a founding member of the Kappa Delta Phi Sorority in Lebanon. She enjoyed family gatherings and family traditions.
Survivors include her daughter, Karla J. (Wally) Venis of Lebanon; grandson, Kyle Venis of Downers Grover, Illinois; three great grandchildren, Brenden, Kate, and Emily; sister, Bonnie B. Dawson of Lebanon; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marguerite was preceded in death by three sisters, Lanora Lee, Dolores, and Alice.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Old Union Cemetery, rural Jamestown, Indiana. Myers Mortuary in Lebanon has been entrusted with her burial arrangements.
