Marian D. Guffy, 95, of Kirklin, passed away July 17, 2026 at Mulberry Health. She was born on March 23, 1931 in Clinton County to Bernardo D. and Mabel Audrey (Gardner) Lee. She married John King Guffy Jr. on June 5, 1949 and he preceded her in death on August 19, 2017.
Marian was a 1949 graduate of Frankfort High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Michigantown United Methodist Church. Other memberships include, past President of Clinton County Extension Homemakers, the Kirklin PM Club for over 50 years, Clinton County Diners Club, Jolly Dozen Euchre Club, Clinton County Antique Machinery Club and a past member of the Clinton County Amateur Radio Club.
Surviving are her children: Michael Joe (Renee) Guffy of Flora, David Lee (Chris) Guffy of Michigantown, Janis Lynette Harshbarger of Kirklin, and Sharon Sue (Anil) Kollipara of Northville, MI, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law: William Harshbarger, along with her siblings and their spouses: Barbara (William) Luper, Helen (Ray) Batts, and Richard (Norma) Lee.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Friends may visit from Noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirklin.
