Mary Jane Clossin, 84, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born in Montezuma, Indiana on August 9, 1941; a daughter of the late Denver D. and Gertrude (Clary) Short.
Mary Jane graduated from Pike High School in 1959 and relocated to Lebanon in the early 1960s.
On August 4, 1962, she married Charles O. Clossin in Lebanon. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2015.
Mary Jane worked at Sears in Lebanon for many years and served as a customer representative for Union Federal Bank.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed quilting. Mary Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her son, Charles J. Clossin of Lebanon and grandchildren, Alec Nelson, Lindsey Nelson, Megan Clossin, and Heidi Clossin.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindi Nelson and her brother, Joseph Short.
No services will be held. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her care.
