Mary Ruth West, 80, a former Frankfort resident, passed away on December 27, 2024 in Monticello, Kentucky. She was born January 26, 1944 in Wayne County, Kentucky to George & Gertie (Branscum) Kidd. She married 
Henry C. West on June 24, 1959 in Kentucky and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2013.
Mary was a member of the Bethel Bible Holiness Church in Frankfort.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her spouse and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Clyde Kidd, Denver Kidd, Vincent Kidd, Joe Kidd and Milton Kidd and 4 sisters, Kelsey Hahn, Ezra Baldwin, Nevada Carter and Alma Potts.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Please visit goodwinfuneralhome.com, where you may share a memory.
