Matthew Stults, 54, of Frankfort, passed away November 2, 2026 in his home. He was born on August 11, 1972 in Huntington, Indiana to Wayne and Jane (Hertenstein) Stults. He married Amye Mills on January 1, 1994 and she survives.
Matt attended school in Huntington and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Ministry and Theology from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion. He had lived in Huntington for 42 years and moved to Frankfort to be a youth pastor at Frankfort First Wesleyan/Connecting Point Church. He attended Grace Baptist Church. Matt loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and also enjoyed fishing, camping, and football.
Surviving along with his wife, Amye, are his children: Allysa (William) Phillips of Statesville, NC, Abbiegale Stults (Gabriel Wilhide) of Frankfort, and Jacob Stults of Frankfort, his father: Wayne Stults of Fort Wayne, grandchildren: Aria, Lydia, Evelyn, Aaliyah, and Canaan, siblings: Ervin Stults, Dan (Jennifer) Stults, Jeremy Stults, and Melody (Aaron) Quick. He was preceded in death by his mother: Jane Stults.
A Celebration of Matt’s life will be held at a later date. Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center and Clinton County Crematory, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort is honored to assist the Stults family.
