Jennifer McCormick, former Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction, will address members of the Clinton County Democratic Party for their regular meeting on May 10 where she will outline the vision on how Democrats can build a brighter future for Hoosier families.
This event will be held at the Frankfort VFW. Food will be served at 5 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m.
Titled “The Hoosier Future”, McCormick will highlight the Indiana Democratic Party’s historic investments in public schools, teacher pay, job creation, and other issues like infrastructure are creating a brighter future for Hoosier families in Clinton County.
“It is an absolute honor to have Dr. Jennifer McCormick join Hoosiers in Clinton County for what will be an important discussion about how Democrats are delivering those kitchen-table issues important to our families. Even with the partisan noise in Indianapolis and Washington, Democrats are funding schools at levels not seen since 2008, providing a much-needed pay raise for our teachers, and creating good-paying jobs across the state,” said Mark Newhart, Chairman of the Clinton County Democratic Party. “Democrats are also providing once-in-a-generation investments for the roads we drive, the internet we use, and the water we drink. Democrats like Dr. McCormick have a plan for the Hoosier State, and it’s past time we celebrate the good work we’re accomplishing for the communities and loved ones we care most about.”
Also, the Clinton County Democratic Party invites you to attend the 2022 Roosevelt/Kennedy Dinner on Saturday, May 14, at the Michigantown Community Center Building, which is the old high school gym. Social hour is from 5-5:45 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
