McCullough Named New Coach at FHS

Frankfort High School has a new boys’ basketball coach as Dave McCullough was officially hired in a special meeting Community Schools Board of Education meeting Tuesday night.

“He is a coach who has experienced success at a couple of other high schools,” said Superintendent Dr. Matt Rhoda. “So we’re looking forward to having an experienced coach come in and work with a great group of kids at Frankfort High School and be able to do some special things with them.”

McCullough, who replaces Nate VanDuyne as head coach, comes to Frankfort from Shenandoah High School. He has also successful stints at Noblesville High School and North Judson High School.

“We feel like we have found the perfect person to lead our program,” said FHS athletic director Ed Niehaus.

The board also announced the hiring of James Byers as track and field head coach and Travis Tison as boys’ soccer coach.
