Meet Sarah: Final Day of WILO’s 12 Strays of Christmas Featured Pet

Today marks the final day of WILO’s 12 Strays of Christmas, and the Humane Society of Clinton County is closing out the holiday adoption campaign by featuring a very special cat in need of a loving home.

Today’s featured pet is Sarah, a sweet female Domestic Short Hair, not quite 2 years old, who is known for her affectionate and cuddly nature. Shelter staff say Sarah absolutely loves to snuggle and is happiest when she’s spending quiet time with someone who cares.

Sarah was recently returned to the shelter through no fault of her own after her caregiver entered assisted living and could no longer care for her. Now, she is patiently waiting for a new forever home where she can once again feel safe, loved, and part of a family. Those who meet her quickly see how much she craves companionship and human connection.

Adopting on the final day of the 12 Strays of Christmas is a meaningful way to wrap up the holiday season by giving a deserving pet a fresh start. As part of the campaign, Sarah’s adoption fee is fully sponsored.

From December 1–15, the Humane Society of Clinton County has featured 46 cats and dogs, all with sponsored adoption fees, helping dozens of animals find loving homes during the holidays.

If you’d like to make Sarah’s holiday wish come true, email cchs04@sbcglobal.net to learn more or to schedule a meet-and-greet in Frankfort, Indiana.

WILO’s 12 Strays of Christmas is proudly sponsored by Day & Genda Funeral Home and T.C. Trailers. Thank you to everyone who tuned in, shared stories, and helped spread holiday hope—one pet at a time.
