Mike Allen Quick, 71, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born November 27, 1951, in Lebanon, Indiana, a son of the late Charles Richard and Norma Jean (Palmer) Quick.
Mike attended Lebanon High School and graduated from Ben Davis High School. He spent years helping on the family farm in Boone County and drove a truck until his retirement in 2008.
He enjoyed being outdoors, taking care of his parents’ property, visiting with friends and family on the porch, and walking for exercise. Mike loved his family and simply adored his grandchildren.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Carol M. McClaine of Lebanon; three sons, Jimmy (Dariann) Quick of Flora, Shane (partner, Michelle Beckam) Quick of Whitestown, and Charlie (Debbie) Quick of Danville; stepson, Michael (Carri) McClaine of Lebanon; six grandchildren, Addison, Kale, K.J., Alyssa, Jaylen, and Ryan; several great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sally Lenox Quick; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Richard Quick, sister and brother-in-law, Jane Ann and Gerald L. Heath; and a stepson, Dustin McClaine.
Funeral Services are planned for 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of services. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.
