Milton Barker, 82, of Frankfort passed away September 19, 2026 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. He was born October 27, 1943 to Milton Augustus and Eva Alice (Hill) Barker in Frankfort, Indiana.
Milton attended Frankfort High School before serving his country in the United States Army. Upon returning to civilian life, Milton worked at the battery factory in Frankfort for three years and then spent his next twenty-six years laboring at the Coomer Saw Mill before his retirement. He was a member of the Frankfort VFW. He also enjoyed singing karaoke and playing his guitar, as well as mushroom hunting and fishing.
Surviving are: his daughters, Donna (Jeff) West and Angie Mullinax (Richard Williams); his grandchildren, Danny (Dawn) Barker, Sean Barker, Chantel West, Austin West, Shane Mullinax, and Aaron Mullinax; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Dawn Barker; his son-in-law, Jay Mullinax; and his sisters, Eva Cox, Bertha Sanders, Linda Nipper, Juanita Wilson, and June Davis.
Friends may visit Tuesday, September 29 from 3-5 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Military Honors will conclude the visitation at 5 p.m. with the US Army and Clinton County Honor Guard. Goodwin Funeral Home and the Clinton County Crematory are honored to assist the Barker family.
