Frankfort Community Public Library is excited to announce a visit from NY Times best selling author, Natalie D. Richards. The free event, held in Skanta Theatre at the Frankfort Community Public Library, is Wednesday, March 8, at 1 p.m. and is open to the public.
Conversation with Richards will focus on her writing, works, and her upcoming new release, Four Found Dead. Questions from the public are welcome. The program is in collaboration with Clinton County’s Battle of the Books competition and Second Flight Books/Main Street Books of Lafayette. Following the discussion, books and other bookish goods will be available for purchase and autograph. The program is free, open to the public, and registration is not required.
Richards is the author of two New York Times Bestselling novels, Five Total Strangers (2020) and Seven Dirty Secrets (2021), as well as six additional novels. Natalie writes “page-turning thrillers” (School Library Journal) for a Young Adult audience. Her first middle-grade book, through Penguin Random House imprint Delacourt, is called 15 Secrets to Survival and is due out in 2023. Four Found Dead will be Natalie’s ninth YA thriller from Sourcebooks and is expected to be a bone chilling addition to her psychologically twisted work.
Local students will recognize Richards’s as the author of Five Total Strangers, a Battle of the Books read and from the Eliot Rosewater High School Book Award List. Frankfort Library Teens Services Manager, Rachel Milburn states, “So many Hoosier students have been reading Richards’s phenomenal books this year! I am thrilled that the library is able to create an opportunity for readers, young and old, to meet her, learn about her work, and hear about her next book!”
Richards’s books are appealing to all ages and the library hopes to welcome school field trips, homeschoolers, and the public. Attendees may expect dynamic conversation and even some ARC giveaways of her newest book before its release of May 23, 2023.
