Late in August, Senator Mike Braun stopped in Clinton County as part of his yearly tour to visit all 92 counties in Indiana to listen to Hoosiers about his work for them in the Senate.
Senator Braun toured the new facility of NHK Seating of America, Inc. in Frankfort, which has been in the process of tripling its Frankfort facility and adding 100 Hoosier jobs in the Clinton County area. At the time of his tour, it required some imagination to see what the facility was going to look like.
In late January 2021 the new Clinton County NHK complex was taking shape nicely.
At the time of Senator Braun’s visit in August, Braun and NHK Vice President Rich Reck commented on the project which will eventually bring the limits of the City of Frankfort out to I-65.
When the City of Frankfort limits finally phase in and reach this NHK project several years from now, the Frankfort City Limits will stretch about 10 miles from NHK to East of Walmart.
“Though the coronavirus pandemic has strained Indiana business, it has not broken the Hoosier entrepreneurial spirit. Seeing NHK’s impressive new facility going up here in Frankfort is more proof that the Hoosier economy will soon be back stronger than ever as we safely reopen.” – Senator Mike Braun
“Seeing us be able to bring the city out to I-65 is big for the local community, and seeing Mike come and join us on this tour just shows us how much the local government supports this small town’s growth.” – NHK Vice President Rich Reck
