The Old Frankfort Post Office and former Frankfort Police Station renovation is underway. A quick drive by the building north of the Frankfort Library at the intersection of Washington and Columbia Streets shows a sign posted saying “Coming…2027. Speakeasy & Events” with an “Old Post Office” logo.
The structure is now over 100 years old and reflects the architecture of a by-gone era.
Several ideas have been floated for the unique structure and now the building has been purchased and renovations have been started for “Speakeasy and Events.”
