Patricia Ann Hardy

Patricia Ann (Jackson) Hardy, 79, died peacefully in her sleep on December 20, 2025, in Plainfield, Indiana, with her husband, Randy Hardy, at her side.

Daughter of Beatrice Miller and Paul Jackson, she was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and later raised in Lebanon, Indiana, attending Lebanon High School where she was a cheerleader.

She and her first husband, Donald “Bob” Hulse, raised five sons in and around Central Indiana. She later became a qualified medicine aide and worked at several nursing homes before retiring as the Store Manager of the 76 Travel Plaza in Whitestown.

Early in her life, she loved singing and was part of the church choir at the First Baptist Church in Lebanon. For many years, she was an accomplished bowler, competing at the Indiana state tournament level. As her kids grew up, she served as scout leader, baseball mom, and shuttled the boys back and forth from their various activities. She was a supporter of the Indianapolis Colts and a country music fan but her biggest passion was embracing her Native American heritage.

She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband and three brothers, Jim Jarvis, Bob Jarvis and Jack Jackson Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Holly) Hulse of Atlanta, Georgia, Randy Hulse of Indianapolis, Rick (Kim) Hulse of Tucson, Arizona, Ron (Sherri) Hulse of Danville, Indiana, and Roger Hulse of Tucson, Arizona; brother Mike Jackson of Lebanon; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana. A private gathering will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025. A livestream of the service will be aired on Myers Mortuary’s Facebook page at 7:00 p.m. that day.
