Patricia J. Bailey Brashear, 86, of Frankfort, passed May 17, 2025 at Mulberry Health. She was born August 31, 1938 in Evansville, IN to Loren & Susan (Kirk) Brashear. She married William H. “Doc” Bailey on January 1, 1956 and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2005.
Patricia attended Arsenal Tech and Wood High School in Indianapolis. In 1964 she moved from Indianapolis to Frankfort. She was a nurse’s aide and then became the activities director for Wesley Manor, working for 15 years. She then became activities director for Mulberry Lutheran Home for 18 ½ years, retiring at 65. After retirement she worked at Mulberry Health for another 10 years. Patricia was a member of the Woodside Christian Church. Patricia will be remembered for being a loving, caring person, who was never judgmental.
Patricia is survived by sons, William H. (Pam) Bailey II of rural Frankfort, Parnell Bailey of Frankfort and Deibel Bailey of Frankfort, brothers, Larry Brashear of Las Vagas, NV and Gary Brashear of Blue Ridge Summitt, Pennsylvania, and granddaughter, Kristen Bailey of Lafayette.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Elizabeth “Winkie” Bailey, sister, Linda White and brother, David Brashear.
Visitation will be from Noon – 2 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
