The Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. Foundation, known as the SIA Foundation, announced that Paul Phillippe Resource Center received a grant as one of 16 projects to receive funding during the 2024 Spring Cycle.
Paul Phillippe Resource Center was presented with a grant for $10,377.22 from the SIA Foundation, which provides funding for 501(c)(3) organizations or entities within Indiana that are dedicated to improving the quality of life and help meet the needs of Hoosier residents.
The foundation funds projects and missions that satisfy the areas of arts and culture, education and health and welfare.
Eligible organizations must submit grant proposals totaling over $1,000 with a maximum requested amount of $15,000, and funding must be used for capital investments in facilities, equipment or real estate.
The organization must be tax-exempt under the Internal Revenue Code section 501(c), an education institution or a governmental or quasi-governmental entity within the state of Indiana while also being financially sound.
The foundation evaluates the proposals based on the significance of need, potential of grant to improve the quality of the services or the quality of life of residents served, potential of long-term impact and success within the local community served and scale of projects within the local community served.
Paul Phillippe Resource Center was selected as one of 16 non-profit organization out of a 399 applicant pool to receive the grant from the foundation, which will be utilized to transition the dining room at the facility into a rec room with a pool table, shuffleboard, darts and more.
