Peggy A. Wyant

Peggy A. Guntle (Fairfield) Wyant who entered heaven’s gates on January 12, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Peggy was born on December 7, 1965, to the late Glenn Guntle and Florence Pratt (Tiny).

She grew up in Thorntown Indiana, where she attended Thorntown, Western Boone Schools and Lebanon Schools at times.

Peggy married Daniel Fairfield on August 28, 1982, and they later divorced. She then married David Wyant on May 16, 1986, and also divorced.

Peggy cherished her family deeply and found great joy spending time with them. Her life revolved around them. She enjoyed listening to music and adored all her pets. Peggy also loved fishing, camping, and treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Time with her grandchildren meant the world to her. Peggy was baptized on August 19, 2014, by Pastor Billy Watts and was very much a day of glory for her.

Survivors include her children, Tina M. (Will) Tate, Daniel (Kylie) Fairfield Jr. and Nicole Ann (Bobby) Trent; stepson, Jeff (Tia) Wyant; daughter-in-law, Sara Wyant; grandchildren, Trai (Kassie) and Dakota (Britten) Roby, Angel and Jonny Neese, Damion, Skyla, and Carson Fairfield, Waylon (Makada) and Savanna (Ryder) Tate, Makayla (Calab) and Marissa, Maliki Trent, Kalie and Paige Kirby Walker, Chris Hammons, Levi, Emily, Makinsey, Bassilynn, Maddison, and Caleb Wyant; great grandchildren, Benjamin, Rosalee, Briar, Grayson, Oakley, Stetson, Leigha, and Rosalee; sisters, Kathy Cambell, Jerrie (Jerimiah) Henry, Jeanette Cook, Jodi Fairfield, Charlotte Wethington, and Laurie Guntle; brother, Glenn Guntle; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by the love of her life, Daniel Fairfield, Sr.; stepfather, James Pratt; stepson, David Wyant, Jr.; granddaughters, Emily Stormy Wyant and Gracie Marie Fairfield; grandson, Coleson Roby; and brother-in-law, Dennis Cambell.

Funeral Services are planned for 12:00 noon on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow services at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown, Indiana.
