The City of Frankfort, in collaboration with Day & Genda Funeral Home, invited the community to a Memorial Day Service today, May 26, 2025, at the Veterans Memorial- Clinton County Courthouse,
This memorial service honors the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our great nation. The service took place at 10:30am, and included a patriotic ceremony with the VFW and American Legion. Following the service, a complimentary lunch was provided at the VFW located at 309 North Main Street, Frankfort.
“Memorial Day is a time for our community to come together and solemnly remember the incredible sacrifice made by our fallen heroes. Their bravery and dedication to our nation will never be forgotten,” said Mayor Judy Sheets. “We encourage all residents to join us as we pay our respects at the Veterans Memorial.”

The Memorial Day service is a longstanding tradition that reflects the community’s deep appreciation for those who have served. The community was invited to attend this important event to pay tribute to our nation’s heroes.
