The Indiana Department of Transportation stated that the Frankfort and Jefferson communities will see road closures on State Road 28 over
the next few days beginning today, April 29.
The construction will take place on State Road 28 between I-65 and just west of U.S. 421 where lane closures will be placed into effect over the next few days, beginning today, April 29. The lane closures are expected to impact the Frankfort and Jefferson areas.
During the lane closures, crews will be refurbishing the pavement markings on the road to enhance driver safety, and the department issued a reminder for all drivers to remain considerate while driving through the area to ensure the safety of the crews.
