The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that State Road 47 in Boone County is expected to re-open this afternoon, Nov. 25, for the night before closing again tomorrow morning, Nov. 26 to complete a pipe replacement before the Thanksgiving holiday.
The department states that tomorrow, Nov. 26, crews will close the stretch of road next to I-65 toward State Road 52 on State Road 47 to replace two pipes, which is expected to last a few hours as weather permits.
Drivers have been instructed to avoid the area and seek an alternate route around the closure beginning tomorrow morning.
