Quintin N. Gibbens, 60, of Crawfordsville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East in Lafayette, Indiana. He was born January 17, 1964, in Peoria, Illinois, a son of the late Harold H. and Mary E. (Mulvaney) Gibbens.
He was married to Starla J. (Smith) Gibbens, and later divorced. She preceded him in death.
Quintin was a 1981 graduated from Salem Community High School in Salem, Illinois.
He was employed as a painter for many years. Quintin had a love for music and enjoyed listening to classic rock.
Survivors include his siblings, Harold (Kathy) Gibbens of Crawfordsville, Janice (Todd) Myers of Hillsdale, Indiana, Joyce (Paul) Dowell of Darlington, Jaci Cox of Crawfordsville, Gary Gibbens of Brazil, Indiana, Jack Gibbens of Brazil, Indiana and Carolyn Winkler of Illinois, and brother-in-law, Joe Stoker of Christopher, Illinois.
In addition to his parents and ex-wife, Quintin was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Hardwick, Kathy Hall, Marilyn Stoker, and his brother-in-law, Clayton Hardwick.
Cremation will take place at Boone County Crematory. Inurnment at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem, Illinois. Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana has been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
