The 2024 T-Shirt Design Contest submissions for the upcoming Raíces Festival close today, Friday, July 19 for community members to vie for the opportunity to have their design printed on the official festival shirts.
The t-shirt theme is “Experiencing Latin America,” and the winning design will be featured on the official t-shirts for the festival with the artist being credited for the design during the festival and on social media. The winner will not receive a monetary prize.
Submissions must be submitted digitally as a JPEG or PNG file to [email protected] by the end of today, Friday, July 19 to be considered for the contest. The guidelines state that designs may only have four colors maximum, must include “2024 Raíces Festival” in the design and must have a maximum side of 9-inches by 9-inches.
The t-shirt color will be decided following the decision of the design winner to best match the design, and judging criteria will consider how the design represents the theme, visual impact and creativity.
