Mr. Randall Lee Tegtman, 76, passed away at his home in Lebanon, Indiana on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. He was born on June 3, 1950, in Elgin, Illinois, a son of the late James G. and Delores M. (Ackman) Tegtman.
He graduated from Hampshire High School in 1969.
On June 6, 1970, he married Sandra Lee (Wille) Tegtman at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampshire, Illinois.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years Sandy Tegtman; children, Ed (Wendy) Tegtman of Algonquin, Illinois and Mike Tegtman of Ottawa, Illinois; grandchildren, Devin, Emeila, Madison, Cayden, and Clayton Tegtman; brother, Greg (Nancy) Tegtman; and sister, Nancy Tegtman.
Memorial services are planned for 12:00 noon, on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Fredricks Funeral Home, 284 Park Street, Hampshire, Illinois with Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Penumaka officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Inurnment will follow services at Hampshire Cemetery.
Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation.
Randy’s celebration of life will be held during the month of May in 2027 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lebanon 2062. Not only to celebrate his life, but to celebrate his love for the Indy 500.
