He spent his entire life as a Hoosier, always remaining in central Indiana. He worked for Dow Chemical for the majority of his working life, then as a delivery truck driver for automotive parts around central Indiana. He also followed in his parents’ footsteps and had attained his real estate license.

Randy was a member of the Boone County Bassmasters fishing club for 38 years, loving every minute of it. He was also an avid hunter. Randy was a passionate follower of his brother’s and nephew’s basketball team in the 1990s. He never missed a game or failed to let the referees know when he disagreed with their calls.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Robert Brunes.
