Ray Wolfe, 70, of Frankfort, passed away August 3, 2025 at his home. He was born August 8, 1954 in Lee County, Virginia to Joe & Maude (Cottrell) Wolfe.
Ray was a 1972 graduate of Frankfort High School and lived the majority of his life in Frankfort. He had worked at National Seal for 18 years and then was a general contractor working in roofing and the railroad. Ray loved playing chess, was an avid music lover and guitar player. He would collect arrow heads with his children when they were younger.
Ray is survived by his children, Holly (Ryan Harshbarger) Heineman, Joseph Wolfe and stepson, Christopher Johnson, grandchildren, Austen Ehrie, Noah Ehrie and Masen Heineman, siblings, Brenda Wolfe, Ralph (Teresa) Wolfe, Connie (Mark) Anderson, Lisa Strong, Tammy (Mark) Snodgrass, and sister-in-law, Pam Wolfe. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ron Wolfe and brother-in-law, Mike Strong.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort with Rev. Joe Smith officiating.
