The community has been invited to join the Barnstormers team at the Red Barn for the spring clean-up led by master gardener Andi Slipher to help beautify the Barn ahead of the summer season.
Slipher is seeking bright-eyed and eager volunteers to help pick up sticks, fill holes with dirt, take dirt out of other holes, chop off dead branches, pull weeds and plant flowers and other decorative plants.
Those who would like to participate may join Slipher and the team of volunteers on either Saturday, April 26 or Saturday, May 24 to help from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Barn.
Volunteers will be treated to some sort of sweet treat and possibly coffee for their efforts. Volunteers should bring their own gardening gloves and clothes they are find with getting dirty.
