The Delphi Public Library has announced that registration forms are available for the 3rd Annual
Theatre Camp scheduled for the first week of June.
The library stated that Red Brick Theatre will be hosting the Summer Theatre Camp from June 3 through June 7 with rehearsals from Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a showtime on Friday at 2 p.m. for grades second through eighth. 25 applicants will be accepted through a lottery method. All registration forms will be due by Friday, May 17 and may be submitted at Delphi Elementary School, Delphi Middle School or the Delphi Public Library.
“An introductory journey through the theatre process,” the theatre released. “From auditions to opening night, gain experience on stage and behind-the-scenes.”
Applicants have also opened for the Theatre Tech Camp, which will operate on the same schedule as the Summer Theatre Camp from June 3 through June 7. The camp is intended to provide tech experience for Delphi community members between freshman year and senior year. 25 applicants will be accepted through a lottery method.
“An introductory journey through the theatre process for those interested in the technical aspects of theatre,” the theatre relaesed. “From auditions to opening night, gain experience and behind-the-scenes knowledge.”
The theatre camps will culimate in a Friday night performance of “Annie–Kids” at 6 p.m.
