Reid Maurice Knapp, 89, of rural Frankfort, passed away April 28, 2026 at Mulberry Health. He was born September 19, 1936 in Frankfort to Paul R. & Virginia B. (Graeff) Knapp. He married Beverly Palmore on July 28, 1957 in Jefferson and she preceded him in death on February 6, 2023.
Reid was a 1954 graduate of Little Jeff High School. A lifelong farmer, he also worked for the Clinton County Highway Department for 14 years and was a self-employed auctioneer for 14 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Jefferson. Reid was a member of antique tractor clubs and loved to hunt, fish and travel.
Reid is survived by his son, Daniel (Lu) Knapp of Crawfordsville, daughter, Debbie (Tom) Day of Texas, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother, Paul Knapp Jr.
