State Representative for District 41 Mark Genda extended an invitation to community members to attend the summer in-district office hours this month on Aug. 12 and Aug. 26 to discuss important issues facing the community and the state.
Genda announced that the office hours will be held at his home office located at 410 Pratt St. in Frankfort from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 12 and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 26. Genda elaborated on the meaning behind hosting the office hours.
“I invite constituents to stop by whether they want to share their feedback on important issues or request help navigating state government,” Genda said. “While the legislative session won’t begin until January, I work throughout the year to serve the community and listen to ideas for how we can make our area an even better place to call home.”
According to Genda, the in-district office hours were initiated to provide constituents with a local and easy means to voice their opinions and suggestions on a regular basis throughout the fall and winter months this year. The office hours will occur on the second Monday from 10 a.m. to noon and the fourth Monday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. of every month through December.
