Robert Dee Thompson “Big Robb”, 36, of Frankfort unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday October 1, 2024. Born in Frankfort IN on November 10, 1987 to Robert and Kimberly (Hall) Thompson.
Robb lived a life filled with love, laughter and kindness. He was known for his willingness to help anyone and his big heart. Robb was a devoted and loving father, son, brother, uncle, pappy and a cherished friend. Robb attended Frankfort High School. He was known for being the guy you could always turn to. He worked alongside his father in the family business “The Wizards Auto Detailing”. Aside from work, Robb enjoyed all things outdoors, one of his favorite hobbies being fishing and riding ATV’s. He enjoyed spending time with his family most of all. But if you asked him, nothing compared to being a dad and pappy.
Robb is survived by his father Robert Thompson of Frankfort; his son, Braiden Coy of Frankfort; stepdaughters, Blazia (Austin) Cooper of Jacksonville NC; Brinzlee Sallee of Frankfort; granddaughters, Lakeland Sallee of Frankfort; Rhiannon Cooper of Jacksonville NC; aunt & uncle David & Sonja Sacra of Frankfort; sister, Jennifer Lucio of Michigan; nephew, Noah Thompson of Michigan; Nieces, Caitlyn (Bryan) Abbott of Frankfort; Hailey Smith of Frankfort and several great nieces and nephews.
Robb is preceded in death by his spouse, Sandra Coy; mother, Kimberly Thompson; grandparents Dallas & Marie Hall and Russell & Karen Thompson; sister-in-law, Heather Arnold and brother-in-law; Jeremy Lucio.
He never looked for praise, he was never one to boast, he just went on quietly working for the ones he loved the most. His dreams were seldom spoken, his wants were very few and most of the time his worries were unspoken too. He was there, a firm foundation through all our storms of life, a sturdy hand to hold on to in times of stress and doubt. A true friend we could turn to when times were good or bad. One of our greatest blessings, the man that we called… Big Robb.
