Robert Lee “Bob” Small, 75, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Lebanon, Indiana on February 7, 1949, and was the son of the late James D. Small and Mildred Marie (Burgin) Small.
Bob was a deacon at the First Baptist Church in Lebanon. He faithfully served the church as a janitor for many years, and he was in the church choir. He enjoyed going on church outings, organizing funeral dinners, tending to his flower garden, and raising chickens.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Deborah Small; niece, Melissa (fiancé, Allen Brock) Small; nephews, Chad (Kacey) Small and Scott Small; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell G. Small and nephew, Jim Small.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until time of services. Interment will follow services at Old Union Cemetery in Jamestown.
