Mr. Rodger Alan Clark, 93, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away Monday morning, October 12, 2026, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. He was born on May 16, 1933, in Buffalo, New York, to the late John Filkins and Mignonne (Capelli) Clark.
On April 2, 1955, he was united in marriage to Joanne (Conn) Clark, in Amherst, New York. They enjoyed 69 wonderful years together before her passing on June 24, 2024.
Rodger earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Buffalo, a master’s degree from Canisius College in New York, and an MBA from Indiana University. He served honorably in the United States Army from 1956 to 1957 and worked for Parker Hannifin and Commercial Filters.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Rodger loved his family and the wonderful times spent together. He was a faithful member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Lebanon and most recently had been a regular attendee at Zionsville Presbyterian Church. Rodger held interests in family genealogy and travelling.
Survivors include his four daughters, Linda (John) Calvert, Debra Holloman, Karen (Richard) Milam, and Janet Walker; nine grandchildren, Michael (Kelly) Calvert, Laura (Sven) Baertschi, Melissa (Matthew) Limato, Larry (Marie) Holloman, Jr., Gregory Milam, Scott Milam, Claire Milam, Julie Kron and Adam Kron; four great grandchildren, Isley Calvert, Callan Baertschi, Emmy Baertschi, and Hadley Holloman.
In addition to his wife and parents, Rodger was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Ann O’Hearn.
Memorial Services are planned for 1:00 p.m., on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m. until the time of services. Rodger’s and Joanne’s ashes will be inurned together at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
