Rolling Slowdowns To Impact I-65 In Boone County During Overnight Hours Beginning April 1

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces rolling slowdowns with potential stoppages on I-65 between State Road 39 at Exit 139 and State Road 47 at Exit 146 near Lebanon.

All travel lanes will be impacted in both directions beginning on or after Tuesday, April 1, when crews will begin these operations for up to 20 minutes at a time during the overnight hours, mostly between midnight and 5:00 a.m. The purpose of this operation is to relocate utilities for the 52@65 diverging diamond interchange project. Work is expected to last a couple of weeks but is weather-dependent and subject to change.

INDOT encourages drivers to use caution while traveling through all work zones, and to follow guidance of law enforcement during the impacted hours of the slowdown.
